Vehicle Conversions
TL Engineering is a general motor
body builder and provides advice and information on any type of
vehicle body conversion or modification. All advice considers
relevant National and State legislation and vehicle rules.
It takes courage to take an angle
grinder and slice the rear end off a brand new wagon. At TL, we have
been doing just that for years. The resulting vehicle is an
inexpensive alternative where load carrying is required with the
added comfort and options found in a 4x4 wagon.
Modification includes a
suspension upgrade to suit the load carrying capacity of the tray.
We can also perform the operation on your 'in-service' or second
hand vehicle.
TL can extend cabs from 300mm to
600mm and customize fitting to client specification. A fold-down or
fixed shelf can be fitted, or the extra space can be utilised for a
secure tool chest with external side access.
The options are only limited to
the clients own imagination, and TL's professional advice.

Build time is about 6 weeks from
the date of order, or receipt of cab/chassis. Standard tray length
for the converted vehicle is 1200mm, but extra tray length may be
obtained by extending the wheelbase.
