Mining Division
The Mining Section, by
maintaining close liaison with the major mining companies, has
developed specifications for a wide range of light and medium duty
vehicles and their varying applications for the mining industry.
The design of 'falling object
protection' and 'roll-over protection' (FOPs & ROPs) has been
refined over time and adapted and tested to satisfy the demanding
standards of the industry.
Personnel protection cages,
seating, lighting and fire-suppression systems have been developed
with the FOPs and ROPs to provide the highest level of safety and
convenience for the mining workforce.
Representatives of TL Engineering
regularly visit the major mine sites throughout the Pilbara,
Kimberly and Goldfield regions to ensure that the company receives
up-to-date input and feedback on the demanding requirements of
miners.
